I am designing a hovercraft and under the rules of the competition, I have to use a standard 1.5-3V DC motor. Having visited a hobby shop, I learned that there is much more than the selection of the propeller, as I thought. What is the size and the height of the propeller can handle the little machine? Or better yet, how do I find?

Try using a template that will you measure what force generated by each propeller can to try.

If you want to use batteries, you can also test how long do the batteries in each case.
